A memorial service for Susan Louise Weatherford will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at 10:30 AM at West Hartselle Baptist Church. Mrs. Weatherford passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026 at her residence. She was born June 29, 1952, in Black Hawk, Iowa to Melvin Leroy Clark and Louise Bell Robins Clark, who preceded her in death.

Susan was a United States Veteran of the Army, and was also a homemaker for her family, whom she loved dearly. She was a fulltime hard-working mom, who could cook anything, especially buttermilk pie. She loved the beach, "Oldies" music, favorite color was purple, and she loved plants, even though she killed them.... She also was a stubborn but lovable person. Christmas was her favorite holiday due to time spent with family and friends. She and her husband of 30 years had their own names for each other, they were affectionately - "Sunshine and Wheatfry".
