Susan Emma Wierschke (Giese), 76 of Kellnersville, died October 1, 2023 at Unity Hospice in De Pere with her family by her side.
Susan was born November 22, 1946 in the town of Oneida to the late Harold and Dorthy (Ganon) Geise. On April 17, 1965, she married Jerome Wierschke and they had four children together.
Susan enjoyed traveling in the motor home with family, gardening, playing cards, coloring, beading, and making her necklaces.
She is survived by her husband Jerome, children: Dennis (Dwayne), Dale (Diane), Doug (special friend Sherry), and Kelly (fiancé Bruce); four grandchildren: Amanda (Derek), Erin (Pat Landt), Trevor and Molly Genz, and Brennan (special friend Emily); three great-grandchildren: Madisen, Hailey, and Aidan; six siblings: Sharon, Faye, Phyllis, Ken, Ron, and Ed; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents Harold and Dorthy Giese, her in-laws Oscar and Eleanor Wierschke, sister Sandy Hoffman, brothers and sisters-in-law Pete Vande Hei, Tom and Loraine Van Vreede, and Bill Michel, two nieces, and two nephews.
Family and friends may gather on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Road R, Denmark, from 3:00-6:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm with Rev. Andrew Zoerb officiating. Susan will be laid to rest at Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
Cotter Funeral & Cremation Care is assisting the family.
