Daniel J. Schweiner, age 69, of Denmark, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Scandinavian Court in Denmark, WI with his family at his side.
He was born on May 3, 1956 in Green Bay, WI, son of the late Jacob and Rose (Forst) Schweiner and stepdad Matt Kralovetz. On September 22, 1979, he married Sharon Brusky at St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church Township of West Kewaunee.
Daniel was a manager for Cooperative Services in Denmark, WI until the merger with United Cooperative in Denmark, WI.
He enjoyed shooting pool, bowling, deer hunting and helping on the family farm. Most special to him was spending time with family, especially with his children and grandchildren.
Daniel is survived by his wife Sharon of 46 years, his children Steve (Jenny) Schweiner of Manitowoc, WI, Ken Schweiner of Green Bay, WI and Stacy (Eric) Jandrin of Green Bay, WI; three grandchildren Olivia, Josephine and Matthew Jandrin; his brothers and sisters Art (Sandy) Schweiner of Denmark, WI, Arlene (Vince) Vogel of Mishicot, Dorothy (Tom) Konop of Denmark, WI, Mary Ann (Gary) Szydel of Kewaunee, WI, Carol (Dennis) Bradley of Denmark, WI, Francis (Laurie) Schweiner of Kewaunee, WI, Julie (Darrel) Szydel of Two Rivers, WI, JoAnn (Dennis) Selner of Denmark, WI and Jerry (Bonnie) Schweiner of Denmark, WI; sister-in-law Joyce Schweiner of Luxemburg, WI; Sharon’s family Daniel (Shirley) Brusky of Kewaunee, WI, Robert (Mary) Brusky of Coleman, WI, Virgil Brusky of Green Bay, WI and Cathy Brusky of Green Bay, WI and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents and stepdad Matt Krolovetz, he is preceded in death by brothers David, Jakie and Dennis Schweiner; father and mother-in-law Daniel (Ruth) Brusky and in-laws Donald, Ronald and Shirley Brusky; nephew Todd Konop.
Family and friends may gather on Friday, November 14th, 2025, at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 Co. Road R, Denmark, WI 54208 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and again on Saturday, November 15th, 2025 at All Saints Catholic Church, 145 St. Claude St., Denmark, WI 54208 from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am with Fr. Xavier Amirtham, O.Praem presiding. Burial of cremains will be at All Saints Cemetery Columbarium in Denmark, WI at a later date.
