Susan B. Zolonas

Susan B. Zolonas, born on March 9, 1950, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on October 22, 2025. Throughout her journey, Sue faced every challenge with remarkable poise, positivity and quiet strength. Even in the face of obstacles and the inevitability of death, she remained a source of light and comfort to those around her. Sue was the devoted wife and best friend of Frederick Zolonas with whom she shared a lifetime of love, laughter, and unwavering companionship. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Fred, her sister and brother-in-law, Deniese and Dave Germroth, nieces, Nicole Pickett and Lisa Germroth, along with countless friends who were touched by her kindness, warmth, and generous spirit.
Sue dedicated her time and heart to helping others. She was a proud and deeply loved volunteer at the Reisterstown Senior Center where she was well-known for working the Front Desk, coordinating the kitchen volunteers, and establishing the R-Town Treasures Gift Shop. Sue was also a devoted Eucharistic Minister where she and Fred were married – at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Glyndon- where her faith guided her life and her compassion touched many.
Family will receive friends at the Eline Funeral Home 11824 Reisterstown Road Reisterstown, MD 21136 on Monday November 3rd from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christiwn Burial will be celebrated at the Sacred Heart of Glyndon Church 65 Sacred Heart Lane Reisterstown, MD 21136 on Tuesday November 4th at 12 noon.
