Sharada Rayamajhi, 63, of Westminster, MD passed away on October 21, 2025, in Charleston, WV. Born April 7, 1962 in Chitwan, Nepal, she was the daughter of the late Ganesh and Agam Rayamajhi. Beloved wife of Balanda Bhandari.
"A woman of boundless kindness and a spirit defined by generosity, she was universally loved and admired. In 2005, driven by an unwavering hope for her family's future, she brought her talents and her compassionate heart from Nepal to the United States. She was a deeply committed Nurse whose professional life was a testament to her giving nature. As a Care Manager at various assisted living facilities, she was known for her tireless work ethic and the genuine, deep care she provided to every patient. For her, nursing was not just a job; it was a calling to help others, a calling she answered every single day. Her devotion extended far beyond her professional life. A dedicated Hindu, she was a true guardian of her faith and her heritage. She was a vibrant presence and an active force in her religious community, notably serving as one of the founding minds behind the establishment of the Pashupatinath Temple in Baltimore. Her deep love for Nepali culture and traditions enriched her family and friends, weaving a beautiful tapestry of faith and identity.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, sacrifice, and service. Her memory will be treasured forever by her loving husband, her three devoted sons, her three wonderful daughters-in-law, and the light of her life, her three beloved grandchildren.
May her kind, beautiful soul rest in eternal peace."
Visitation and Service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2025, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, MD 21074.
