Publish in a newspaper

Susan L. Zolotorofe, born on August 17, 1972, entered this world at Abington Hospital and endeared everyone to her presence until October 24, 2025, when she passed away peacefully at her home in Ivyland at the age of 53. Her passing was a result of the long-term effects from radiation treatments she bravely underwent as a teen to battle a brain tumor.
Susan dedicated her life to nurturing young minds, working tirelessly in pre-schools and day care centers throughout Bucks County, including her time at the YMCA in Warminster. Her passion for child care was a testament to her gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
A woman of diverse interests, Susan found joy in swimming, solving word search puzzles, and demonstrating her athleticism on the tennis court. She had a deep love for kitty cats, who brought her endless delight. Her favorite movie, "JAWS," was a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for classic cinema.
For over two decades, Susan was an integral part of the Addisville Church community, where she devoted herself as an assistant Sunday School and VBS teacher alongside her beloved mother. Her faith and dedication were an inspiration to all who knew her.
From early childhood, Susan cherished her visits to Silver Bay on Lake George, NY, and found solace in the sandy shores of Ocean City, NJ. Halloween and Christmas were her favorite holidays, as they allowed her to express her vibrant personality. She loved dressing up, celebrating her true "Girly Girl" nature.
As a tall and attractive woman, Susan's most remarkable feature was her radiant smile, a beacon of warmth and kindness that instantly endeared her to everyone she met. Even during her most challenging medical trials, she never parted with that beautiful smile, embodying resilience and grace.
Susan is survived by her loving parents, Eileen (nee: Fetter) and Don Zolotorofe, along with a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Her family invites relatives and friends to celebrate Susan's life at viewings on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 5 to 8 PM at Campbell and Thomas Funeral Home, 905 Second Street Pike in Richboro, and on Thursday morning from 9 to 10:45 AM at Addisville Church, 945 Second Street Pike in Richboro. A service to honor her life will follow at 11 AM, with interment following in Union Cemetery, Richboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Susan "Z" Children's Fund at Addisville Church, 945 Second Street Pike, Richboro, PA 18954, continuing her legacy of caring for children. Susan, may your spirit find eternal peace in the hearts of those you touched.
