Susana Soria Obituary

Susana "Susie" G. Soria
08/11/1928 - 08/25/2025
With heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Mrs. Susie G. Soria, who left this world on August 25, 2025, at the age of 97. Born on August 11, 1928, in Benjamin, Texas, Susie was a beacon of love and kindness in the lives of all who had the privilege to know her.

Susie was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Elias Soria, with whom she shared a cherished bond of 75 years. Together, they cultivated a legacy of love that extended to their family and friends. As a nurturing mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, she exemplified the very essence of family devotion, always attentive to the needs and joys of her loved ones.

An ambassador of courage, Susie proudly participated in Relay for Life, bringing hope and inspiration to those facing health challenges. Her spirit resonated in all that she did, whether in her passion for gardening, where she nurtured life and beauty, or in her culinary creations that brought warmth and comfort to her family gatherings.

Susie will be deeply missed, yet her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will continue to inspire all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gregorio and Feliz Granados; son, Mario Alberto Soria; daughter, Maria Susana Soria; siblings, Emilia (Alfredo) Trinidad, Florentino Granados, and Roberto (Alicia) Granados.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Elias Soria, with whom she shared 75 years of marriage; her children, Jose Luis Soria, Bertha Sylvia Segovia, Rosa Idalia (Alejandro) Gonzales, Nora Elia Soria; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Soria; 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; siblings, Nicolas (Rosa ) Granados, Eliodoro (Ramona) Granados, and sister-in-law, Ramona Granados. She is also survived by numerous loving relatives and friends.
