Susannah Greene Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Starks & Menchinger Chapel - Saint Joseph on Feb. 7, 2026.
Susannah Louise Greene, age 55, of Stevensville, Michigan, passed away on January 2, 2026.

Born on January 19, 1970, in Puerto Rico, Susannah lived a life defined by creativity, determination, and a deep appreciation for beauty in all its forms. She was the beloved daughter of Judith Madeline Greene, who survives her, and Douglas Walker Greene, who preceded her in death. She is also survived by her sister, Amanda Kathryn Greene.

Susannah began her professional journey in sales at WIRX radio station, where her natural creativity and talent for connection allowed her to thrive selling advertising space. That gift for relationship-building and strategic thinking carried her into the banking industry, where she built a successful career leading complex deals, particularly within the SBA sector, during her years living in California. She was respected for her insight, work ethic, and ability to bring people together to make things happen.

Creativity was woven into every part of Susannah's life. She had a remarkable understanding of gemstones and an instinctive eye for design, creating one-of-a-kind jewelry that reflected her artistry and individuality. She also had a deep love of fine art and fashion, appreciating craftsmanship, expression, and personal style as meaningful forms of storytelling.

Outside of her career, Susannah's heart belonged to animals, especially horses. She grew up riding and showing Quarter Horses, a passion that stayed with her throughout her life. Music was another lifelong love. A devoted supporter of rock and roll, she combined that passion with her writing, contributing to various publications and championing the artists and bands she believed in.

Susannah will be remembered for her warmth, her creative spirit, and the genuine way she connected with others. She left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her, and her presence will be deeply missed.
