Susie Lee Jones Graham, a resident of Bear Branch, KY was born May 27,1945 in Kaliopi, Kentucky to the union of the late Floyd Jones and the late Martha Griffith Jones.
A former teacher, for the Hope House, Susie spent much of her former years educating and caring for those enrolled. Her care and concern for the students was genuine. She had a sincere love for all children.
Susie cherished family, she enjoyed family gatherings and simply just spending time together. Apart from work and family, she enjoyed hobbies such as knitting, crocheting, and upholstery.
On Sunday, October 6th, 2024, Susie departed this walk of life at her home surrounded by her beloved family. She was 79 years old.
In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her husband Roscoe Graham, a stepdaughter Marilyn Cross, three brothers Daniel Jones, Ross Jones, and John Jones. Two sisters Aileen Jones and Charlotte Jones. Three grandchildren Rosalyn Hannah Sizemore – Graham, Nicholas Holland and Peyton Holland, as well as one brother-in-law Larry Baker.
Susie leaves behind two cherished daughters Susan Jones Holland (Donnie) and Mary Ann Graham (Randy Holland), both of Bear Branch, KY, one sister, Nancy Jones Baker of Miamisburg, OH, a sister-in-law Carol Jones, four adored grandchildren: a very dear and special grandson Roscoe Dalton Cole Sizemore (Makenzie), Bryson Holland, Ryan Holland (Ashley), Tanner Spurlock (Kelsey), and Andy Holland. Four treasured great- grandchildren Brantley Maynard, Rylan Holland, Reagen Holland and Tucker Spurlock; a very special person she loved as her own grandchildren Blake Brown, Brayden Holland, Brantley Holland, Breanna Holland, Brittney Holland, and Logan Holland. A host of other beloved family and friends also survive her passing.
The funeral service for Susie Lee Jones Graham will be held at 1p.m. – Thursday, October 10th, 2024, at Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home chapel with Ted Couch, Scott Williams and Jamie Bowling officiating.
Interment will follow in the John & Susan Griffith Cemetery at Kaliopi with Larry Baker, Recil Jones, Rodney Jones, Edmond Jones, Steve Jones, Charles Holland and Brayden Holland serving as pallbearers. Bryson Holland, Brantley Holland, and Deon James McCulley serving as honorary pallbearers.
Family and friends may gather for visitation from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. – Wednesday evening at the funeral home chapel
Arrangements are being handled carefully under the direction of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home.
