Susie B. Perkins

Susie B. Perkins, 76 of Cartersville, passed away on October 14, 2025. She was born in Cartersville on February 16, 1949 to the late Frank Brown and the late Weston Kown Brown. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Perkins; daughter, Debra Perkins; and her brother, Charles Brown.
Susie was a loving woman who never met a stranger. She loved her whole family, especially her children. She enjoyed girls' trips, cruises, and bingo. She enjoyed gambling and was very good at it. She loved the color blue and enjoyed looking out for Cardinals.
She is survived her sons, Douglas (Patricia) Perkins, Robert C (Barbara) Perkins and James E. Perkins; daughter Brooke Hilburn; grandchildren Cody Perkins, Courtnie Perkins, Avery Perkins, Grant Perkins, Shelby Perkins and Ireland Perkins; great grandchildren Aubrey Perkins, Charlie Perkins, Bella Perkins, Brayden Ryan, Braxton Ryan, Brennen Ryan, Bryleigh Ryan, and Grayson Perkins; as well as her twin sister Vicki Miller and sister Brenda Gossett.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at Georgia National Cemetery with George Chastain officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Parnick Jennings Funeral Home.
