Sue was born on August 13, 1936 in Cecilia to Rene and Leota Benoit. In 1956, Sue united in marriage with the love of her life. Together, Dennis and Sue embarked on many road trips in their cherished motorhome, relishing the joys of camping. Their shared life was rich with moments spent surrounded by loved ones, as they generously invited extended family and friends to join them on vacations. Their passion for cooking and hospitality was evident in the warmth of their gatherings, where they opened their hearts and home to all. As a couple, they demonstrated boundless generosity, both with their time and resources, enriching the lives of those around them.

Sue's departure leaves a profound void, touching the hearts of those fortunate enough to have known her. Her legacy is one of boundless kindness and unwavering compassion, traits that will forever echo in the memories of countless individuals. Sue, whose faith was profoundly anchored, eagerly anticipated her weekly gatherings with the rosary group and attending mass twice weekly. With unwavering devotion, she diligently recited the rosary, firmly believing in the transformative potency of prayer. Sue epitomized selfless care, always tending to family members in times of illness.

Sue's love knew no bounds; it was both given and received abundantly. Generous to her core, she dedicated herself to aiding others, guided by her overflowing love. This love was imparted to each of her family members leaving an indelible mark on generations to come. Her inner and outer beauty were undeniable, characterized by her radiant smile, a reflection of the goodness within her. Sue was a source of blessing, comfort, and joy to all who were privileged to be in her presence. Her days were illuminated by simple pleasures, and she found fulfillment in the act of nourishing both body and soul through her culinary talents. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and laughter, where her renowned frozen pineapple and coconut cakes brought joy to countless gatherings of family and friends. Above all, Sue treasured the precious moments spent surrounded by family, each one a cherished memory to hold onto dearly.

She is survived by her three daughters, Toni (Robert "Bobby") Cade, Tammy (Albert "Al") Fuselier of St. Martinville, and Tia Hulin of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Chelsea (Brock) Hulin and Alexi Fuselier of Broussard, Brittany (Ryan) Crim of Breaux Bridge, Haley (Casey) Dore of St. Martinville, Alex (Halee) Fuselier, and Parker and Payton Hulin of Lafayette; her great grandchildren, Mackenzie "Kenzie", Ellie, and Jaxon "Jax" Hulin, Benson and Brooks Crim, Asher and Addison "Addie" Dore, Hayes, Crew and baby girl Fuselier; her step great grand-daughter, Brynlie Lassiter of Breaux Bridge; and her sister, Hazel Latiolais of Breaux Bridge.
