Suzanne Mary Clingman

Clingman, Suzanne Mary (nee Peter). Beloved wife for 33 years of Chris Clingman. Dear sister of Jim (Becky) Peter, Karen (Greg) Mondro, Jeff (Debbie) Peter, Beverly (Charles) Simpson, Gayle (Tim) Bischel, and the late Tom (Rhonda) Peter. Loving sister-in-law of Cathy (Mike) Cable. Also survived by her "aunt" Carolyn Schmidt and many cherished nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Rose (nee Hackett) Peter. Passed away suddenly on January 31st at the age of 67.

Suzanne's Catholic faith was a central part of her life and it was a constant thread that was woven into all aspects of her daily living. She had great love for the Holy Rosary and the Miraculous Medal of Our Lady. She was lovingly dedicated to her faith and family and was greatly loved and admired by her 31 nieces and nephews and a growing number of great nieces and nephews. She loved to sing and sang in church choirs through much of her life. Suzanne loved nature and was an avid birder and wildflower expert. Her love of God's natural world carried over to her career as a naturalist. Earlier in her life she worked as a naturalist with Indiana State Parks, Hamilton County Park District and Darke County Park District. Over the past 25 years she was the manager of the Anderson Township Greenspace Program, and caretaker of Crooked Run State Nature Preserve for the Clermont County Park District. She was well known as a caretaker of all God's creatures and was devoted to taking care of abandoned pets.

Visitation Monday, February 9th from 4pm - 8pm at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home,10385 New Haven Rd Harrison, Ohio 45030. The rosary will be said at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass: Her Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 10th at 11:00am at Saints Philomena and Cecilia Catholic Church, 16194 St Marys Rd, Brookville, IN 47012. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
