Suzanne Canada Douglas  Age: 78

 

Of: Dickson, TN., passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Monday, January 22nd, 2024, in Dickson, TN. She was born in Craggie Hope, TN. on May 16th, 1945, to the late Jesse Thomas Canada, and to Margaret Cathey Hall. 

Suzanne was a loving mother, nana, and sister. She loved her family unconditionally. She enjoyed getting her hair done, fishing, mushroom hunting, and cooking. 

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Nelson Douglas, and her 3 brothers, Tolbert, Roger, and Robert Canada. 

Left to cherish her memory are her mother: Maggie Cathey Hall; her 2 sons: Stephen and Kevin Spicer; her 2 grandchildren: Brittney (Michael) Jackson and Darrel (Shaina) Spicer; her 5 great grandchildren: Trevor, Hunter, and Haelynn Jackson and Caylie and Noah Spicer; her 5 sisters: Liz (Kurt) Harnish, Kay Locke, Sarah (Tony) McCullough, Fannie May (Phil) Stinson and Sheila (Rick) Lay; as well as many nieces and nephews. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 25th, 2024, from 11am - 2pm at Spann Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, from the chapel of Spann Funeral Home, with Roger Wright officiating. She will be laid to rest at Union Cemetery next to her husband in Dickson, TN.
