Suzanne P. (Franklin) Hubble, 81, of Burlington, beloved wife of Kenneth R. Hubble, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 25 at the Memory Care

Center of Kindcare in Bristol. Suzanne was born on November 21, 1943, in Yonkers, New York and was the daughter of the late Sven and Suzanne (Billie) Franklin. She was raised in Bristol, graduated from Bristol Eastern High School and then went on to get her teaching degree from Central Connecticut State College. She and Ken married in 1965, built their house and moved to Burlington in 1966 where they raised their family. Suzanne worked as a teacher at Hubbell School for a year after graduation and then helped Ken start his business, Hubble Construction. She was his business secretary for over 25 years. Suzanne enjoyed flower gardening in her yards and was an avid reader, always having a book to read when she had a few minutes. She always enjoyed shopping trips with her mother, daughter and grandkids. She also had a masterful skill for finding top notch tag sales and loved the hunt with her friends. Suzanne and Ken loved to travel to their homes in Sugar Loaf Key, Florida and Wilson Pond in Greenville, Maine where they would spend time with friends and family. She was a gracious host, enjoyed taking care of others and was known to have the patience of a saint. She made friends everywhere she went, was always smiling, kind and she was well loved by all who knew her. Suzanne is survived by two children; Patty Hurlock and husband, David, and Craig Hubble and wife, Cheryl, both of Burlington; two grandchildren, Tyler Hurlock and wife, Hailey of Cave Creek, Arizona and Katie (Hurlock) Finzel and husband, Jordan of Santa Barbara, California; a brother, Bruce Franklin, and a niece and a nephew. Burial will be private in Burlington Center Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family would like to thank Kindcare and Brighton Hospice for the amazing care given to their mom.
