Suzanne Hubert Obituary

Suzanne A. Hubert

UXBRIDGE - Suzanne A. Hubert 81, of Uxbridge, MA passed away on January 19, 2026, with family and friends by her side. She was the wife of the late Ronald B. Hubert. Born in

Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Antoine and Gertrude (Giard) Paulhus. Sue was a 1963 graduate of St. Claire High School. She worked for the former Blackstone Valley Electric Co., now National Grid, in West Bridgewater, MA in public relations for thirty-four years. She also worked for Milford Regional Hospital for thirteen years in registration.

Her spirituality was a guiding force throughout her life; prayer was a source of comfort, strength, and gratitude, and her faith shaped the way she loved and cared for others. She was a woman whose heart seemed to bloom brightest in the month of May, a season she loved for its promise, beauty, and renewal. She found joy in Broadway plays, where music and storytelling lifted her spirit, and she treasured every moment spent with family and friends. Whether gathered around a table sharing laughter or sitting quietly together, those connections were the foundation of her life. She had a deep love for shopping, travel and adventure, equally happy exploring new places, shopping with friends or camping at Normandy Farms Campground. She will be remembered for her smile, her warmth, her curiosity, and the way she embraced life with both joy and reverence. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit lives on in the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her daughter Tennille Monteiro of Lincoln, siblings, Gerald Paulhus, Jeannine Lachance, Denise Plante, and Claudette Houle all of North Smithfield, four grandchildren, Ariana, Blake, Caleb, and Addison Monteiro, three great-grandchildren, Charlotte, Bennett, and August, and her life long best friend, Jeanne Parent of Uxbridge, MA.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday, January 28, 2026, beginning with visitation from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, Park Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. In lieu of flowers, donations to Salmon Hospice 37 Birch St., Milford MA 01757 or Dana Faber Cancer Institute, 10 Brookline Place West 5th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226 in her memory would be appreciated. My sincerest sympathy to the Paulhus Hubert Families. I´ve known Sue since the 3rd grade at Mt. St. Francis and then onto St. Claire High School. Although we haven´t seen much of one another we continued to send one another Birthday and Christmas cards. The last time we were together was for our 50th Class Reunion.
I won´t be able to attend the Funeral because I am currently in Florida for the winter. May my dear friend Sue, RIP

Sue and Ronnie were always up for laughs whenever our families (Rondeau) were together. She was kind and always showed an interest in our lives. She and her siblings were a beautiful example of how families are/hope to be. She is deserving to be at peace and in the presence of Jesus.
