Suzanne Kyle Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Palmer Funeral Homes - Bubb Chapel on Apr. 1, 2025.
Suzanne "Suzie" (Ridenour) Kyle passed away from complications of COPD on March 30, 2025, at the Ernestine Raclin Hospice House.
Suzie was born on December 3, 1941, to Edward and Lola Draves Ridenour. On May 4, 1990, as Suzanne Dencel, she married Billy M. Kyle. Billy preceded her in death on December 26, 2001.
Suzie was also preceded in death by her brother, Edward O. Ridenour in January 2012 and by her sister, Patricia Keller in March 2021.
Suzie is survived by her grandson Mathew Magaldi. Unable to have children, Suzie and Mathew found each other soon after Mathew was born. Suzie raised Mathew and he was always there for her, as she was for him. She loved him with all her heart.
Suzie is also survived by her brother, Randy and his wife, Patty Ann. She enjoyed spending time with them and talking about family history.
Also surviving are nieces, Tami (Kevin) Hardison, and Kimberly (Chris) Gallegos; nephews, Jason (Tiffany) Ridenour, Joshua (Amanda) Ridenour, Curtis (Kimberly) Ridenour, and Robert (Kimberly) Ridenour.
Her cousin Penny Joo was always spending time with Suzie, taking her out for drives and going out for lunch. Penny thought of Suzie as her second mother.
Through her friend, Sylvia, she met Shelby and Bruce Faltynski. Shelby and Bruce became the daughter and son she always wanted. Shelby and Bruce were always ready to help whenever Suzie needed anything. Suzie always loved children and loved Shelby and Bruce's children as her own grandchildren.
Suzie recently lost two very close friends, Gloria Newling after 58 years of friendship and Sylvia Morrow after 70 years of friendship.
Suzie was a member of the first graduating class of the new Washington High School. Suzie was a caregiver the majority of her life taking care of friends and family. She was also a CNA and QMA for River Park Health Care for 35 years.
Suzie and Billy enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling to Tennessee to visit with Billy's family. She loved working with the flowers and the rose bushes on her patio. She was an avid Notre Dame, Chicago Bears, and George Jones fan.
Suzie would like to thank Dr. Paul Guentert and Dr. Richard Lentz for all of the wonderful care they provided for many years.
Visitation will be on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 10-12 p.m. Services will start immediately following visitation at Noon. All being held at Palmer Funeral Home – Bubb Chapel, 3910 N. Main St. Mishawaka, IN 46545. A private family burial at Highland Cemetery will take place at a later time.
