Suzanne Skrabak

Suzanne (Gaida) Skrabak, of North Huntingdon, 57, died unexpectedly Christmas Eve, Friday, Dec. 24, 2021. Beloved wife of Charles A. Skrabak for 32 years; loving and devoted mother of Charlie Skrabak, Christiana Skrabak and Christian "Andy" Skrabak, all of North Huntingdon; precious daughter of Walter Gaida, of East Pittsburgh, and the late Patricia (Krivansky) Gaida; and dear sister of Walt (Becky) Gaida, Barbara (late Harry) Leeper, Stanley Gaida and Michelle (Dean) Shogan. Suzanne was a 1981 graduate of Turtle Creek High School. She was employed as a provider service advocate for United Healthcare. Her family was the most important aspect of her life. Suzanne would often reflect that the primary reason to have been placed on earth was to be mother to her children. One of the joys she received from her raising her children was attending many of Christiana's softball games. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., 700 Linden Avenue at Cable Avenue, East Pittsburgh, 412-824-8800, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday. Suzanne will be laid to rest in Monongahela Cemetery.
