Suzanne Sutton, age 88, of Fultonville, NY passed away peacefully on November 2, 2025 with her family at her side. She was born July 14, 1937 in Johnstown, NY to the late Michael and Dorothy (Nellis) Goot.

Suzanne was raised in the Catholic faith, and attended St. Patrick's School in Johnstown. Suzanne married the love of her life, Roy Sutton Jr. On October 10, 1959 at St. Patrick's Church in Johnstown. They began to build their life together soon after, and welcomed two children, Rodney and Suzanne. She worked at Life Savers prior to working at the Johnstown Knitting Mill, from which she retired in 2000.

In her spare time, Suzanne enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, going out to eat and going for car rides with her husband. Above all, Suzanne was an excellent wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved her family deeply, and loved taking care of them. She will be sorely missed by her entire family.

Suzanne is survived by her husband, Roy, son Rodney (Dawn) Sutton, brothers Donald Goot and James Goot, as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Suzanne, sister Dorothy Crankshaw, and brother Michael Goot.

The family has chosen to remember Suzanne's life privately at this time, and there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Suzanne's name may be made to the Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter, 133 Hilltop Road Sprakers, NY 12166.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home.
