Suzanne F. Torrisi

Suzanne F. Torrisi, 92, of Pt. Pleasant Beach and Somerset, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025. Sue grew up in New Brunswick and Milltown. She graduated from Douglas and Kean College with a Master's Degree in Education. Sue dedicated her career to children as a loving kindergarten teacher, supervisor, and acting Principal in the Franklin Township School District. Sue was an avid reader, sailor, master bridge player and member of the Raritan Bay Power Squadron and Brielle Woman's Club. Her family was everything to her. She recently celebrated her 70th wedding anniversary to the love of her life Victor.
Sue is predeceased by her parents, the Honorable John Fuchs and Margaret Fuchs, her son Christopher Torrisi and son-in-law William Biel. She is survived by her husband Victor, daughter Laura Biel, grandson's Casey and Alexander Biel, Brother Armin Frost, nieces Karen Torrisi and Tammy Frost and Nephew Justin Frost. She is also survived by her two bonus grandchildren, Brittany Coyne and Jason Biel.
We could not have gotten through this journey without her kind and compassionate caregivers Kelly, Neecy, and Maureen.
