Sybil was born March 20, 1954, in Jersey City, NJ, then moved to NY and Later ended in KS, the daughter of Edward and Sybil Kohli.
Survivors include her children, Joseph Zabry, Wayne Williams, Mark Manthe (Spouse Maribeth), Jennifer Zabry, Janet Zabry, Becky Ritton, bonus daughter, Jennifer Grower, companion, Michael Kilburn, sister, Mary Smith, seven grandchildren, Dylan, Kari, Becca, Bryan, Skyler, Ari, KK, nine great-grandchildren, Alex, Izzy, Mia, Zak, Max, Isabella, Jonathan, Zoey, and Hailie and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Joseph Zabry, Brian Jones, son, Christopher Michael Kohli, brother, Frederick (Butch) Mchessney, Frederick Quick and sister, Shirley Hale.
She worked at Valley Health Services in Herkimer NY for 16 years and then Pioneer Ridge in Lawrence KS for 20 years when she finally retired in 2025.
The family suggests memorials in Sybil’s name to Lawrence Humane Society and may be sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th Street, Lawrence, KS 66044.
