Sylvester Edward Morawski

On Tuesday, May 13, the Lord Jesus Christ took Sylvester Edward Morawski to be by His side. Sylvester Morawski also known as Ski was born December 28, 1938 in Reading, Pennsylvania to the late John and Helen Morawski.
Ski was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in Reading Pennsylvania. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Air Force where he worked as a pharmacist technician for 24 years and retired as a senior master sergeant. After retirement, he went to Wayne Community College and obtained his License Practical Nursing degree. He then worked for Cherry Hospital for 15 years until he fully retired.
Ski is survived by his three sons, Robert Douglas Morawski, Michael George Morawski and wife, Pam, Mark Edward Morawski and wife Reagan; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and his sister, Theresa Gregory, and husband, John and her son, Jeff Root.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 16, 2025 at Saint Mary Catholic Church in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Inurnment will conclude at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery at 12:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in honor of Ski to, Saint Mary Catholic Church, 1603 Edgerton St, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
