Sylvia Blazier Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Aunt, cousin, momma, nanny, Sylvia was all of these. Miss 4ft 10in was a feisty, sassy, spitfire who lost her battle with alzheimers on the 8th of June 2025.
Sylvia could be sweet as honey or mean as the devil. Before her life was stolen by memory loss, loss of dexterity, and a change in her personality she would always be well groomed, hair styled, and the brightest red hair and her lipstick. She always told all the girls that passed through her house, do not go out of the house looking like a hoochie, and always wear your lipstick.
Sylvia was preceded in death by the love of her life, Gene Blazier, her gene as she called him. She was also preceeded in death by her mother Irene Frost, her father J.D. Frost, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and her favorite son in law, Michael Fields.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters Ashley Blazier-Peavy, Scarlet Blazier-Fields, Kathryne Hasley (Ken), son Jason Blazier, grandchildren Jamison, Lindsey, Tiffany, Jesse, Morgan, Daniel, Hunter, and great grandchildren Riley, Adeline, Freya, Colton, Wren-leigh, and Walker.
Sylvia requested no funeral service, no burial, and no crying over her. As always Sylvia had the last word. She will be remembered for a lot of things by many different people, but we all knew and loved the Sylvia that never lost an argument.
Rest sweet one, You are with your Gene now.
