Sylvia "MeMe" Lillian Hill, 75, of Piedmont, died on Monday, January 29, 2024, at her home. Born on January 26, 1949, in Piedmont, she was the daughter of the late Clifton S. and James Lillian (Price) Brooks.
Sylvia retired from ABL and a member of Ladies Auxiliary of the Washington-Smith Legion in Keyser.
She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Gregory Paul Hill; a granddaughter, Teyanna Boyd of Morgantown; a great grandson, Zakhi Fletcher; two sisters, Debbie Twyman and Ruby Campbell and husband William; brothers-in-law, Michael Ryan, Joseph "Jay" Hill and wife Margaret, Gary Hill and wife Beverly; a sister-in-law, Sondra Hill; and numerous nieces and nephews In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Michele Hill in 2013; a sister, Lenora Ryan; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Marguerite (Coleman) Hill.
Friends will be received on Friday, February 2, 2024, from 4 to 7 PM at the Fredlock Funeral Home, 31 Jones St., Piedmont. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 11 AM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 34 Jones St., Piedmont with Rev. William Kady officiating. Interment will follow in the Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser. The Fredlock Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Hill family at this time.
