Rev. Sylvia A. Miley

The Rev. Sylvia A. Miley (nee Grubbs), age 75, of Sicklerville, N.J., graduated to Heaven on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

Born in Brookville, she grew up in Sigel, and formerly lived in Hackettstown, N.J. and Mt. Pocono.

Along with her husband, Rev. Sylvia A. Miley touched thousands of lives and helped countless ministers both here and abroad in her many years of traveling in the ministry.

She was currently the CEO and president of Faith Covenant Ministries, which she and her husband founded and dedicated their lives to the growth and success of the ministry.

Beloved wife of the late Rev. Dr. James W. Miley Jr.; Loving daughter of the late Donald Clayton Grubbs and the late Mary L. "Marian" Grubbs; Dear sister of Linda (Grubbs) Coffey of Shelby, Ohio and Donna (Grubbs) Jackson (Walter) of Sigel; Loving aunt of Aimee Aichholz, Nathan Coffey and Lucas Jackson; Dear cousin of Nancy Smith (Kevin) and their children, Suzanne and Bethany.

She is also survived by her best friend, Brenda Sue Buzard.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Farnelli Funeral Home, located at 504 N. Main Street in Williamstown, New Jersey, where a celebration of life service will be held at 7 p.m.

Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery in Sigel.
