Sylvia Roberts Patton

Mrs. Sylvia Roberts Patton, 70, of Newnan, GA passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024. She was born August 3, 1953 in Jackson, MS to the late Willard Roberts and Lucille Cullipher Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Tucker.
Sylvia grew up in Jackson, MS and was a graduate of Central High School. She processed data entry at Allstate Insurance, where she met her husband Kevin. They were happily married for 47 years. The majority of her life was spent doing what she loved, raising her two children.
In 2017, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She faced an always uphill battle, but maintained strength of will and perseverance. Throughout her journey, she demonstrated incredible resilience, determination, and an abundance of grace.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 656 Roscoe Rd, Newnan, GA. This will be a private ceremony, attended by her close family.

Survivors include husband Kevin Patton of Newnan; daughter Kellie Mosel and husband Anthony Mosel of Carrollton, GA; son Keith Patton of Newnan; sister Kathy Shaller, husband Rick Shaller, son Ryan Shaller of Madison, MS; nephew Jason Tucker and wife Ashlie Tucker of Flora, MS.
