Sylvia J Pisano

Wales- Sylvia Janet (Kusek) (Chalue) Pisano, 83, passed away Friday, May 16, 2025 in her home surrounded by love of family. Born November 21, 1941 she was an only child of the late Rudolph and Victoria (Lech) Kusek who were born and raised in the Thorndike Village of Palmer. She adored her parents an had a great love for family.

Sylvia was a Girl Scout and enjoyed professional dancing lessons and her many friends. She became a Girl Scout Leader in Monson when her daughters joined scouting. For many years she brought her scouts Christmas caroling, enjoyed backyard picnics, where they learned a few dancing stunts and attended fly up ceremonies.

Sylvia was active in the PTA holding position of secretary while her children attended Monson Schools. She was also active in the Parish Council at St. Christopher's Church in Brimfield when she moved to Wales.

Sylvia worked at Precision Medical Instruments for 16 years as an assembler/ lead crew member / inspector. She then worked at Springfield wire for 13 years as a calibration technician.

Sylvia often shared these simple words “Memories are the fondest things one can possess”

Sylvia leaves her loving husband, Robert E. Pisano. Her children, Danny Chalue and his wife June, Dennis Chalue, Darcy (Chalue) Williams, Darrin Chalue and his wife Ann; seven grandchildren, Daniel Jr, Karen Chalue, Laura Murphy, Shala Corish, Cody, Amanda and Shania Geaslin. Sylvia was predeceased by her daughter Denise (Chalue) Geaslin

Visiting hours will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 4-7pm in Lombard Funeral Home 3 Bridge St. Monson. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, May 21 at 10 am in St. Christopher's Church in Brimfield, burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in Monson.

If you would like to travel in Funeral Procession from the funeral home to church Wednesday morning please gather at the funeral home from 8:45-9:15 am.
