Sylvia Kay Robinson

Sylvia Kay Robinson 65 of Henderson KY passed away October 3, 2025 surrounded by her family and friends at Redbanks in Henderson KY.

She was born October 1, 1960 to Ernest Ray and Edna Catherine Rigdon. She was a long-time employee at the Henderson Walmart where she got to share her love of plants and flowers with her customers. She was a fan of the UK Wildcats and the St Louis Cardinals.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren and she was quick to say that her favorite name was Nana.

Along with her parents she was proceeded in death by her sister Diane Hogan and brother Jamie Rigdon.

She is survived by her companion Richard "Chico" Schaeffer of Henderson, KY.

2-sons James Turner (Christy Campbell) of Morganfield, KY.

Bryan Turner (Cristy) of Waverly, KY.

1-daughter Krystal Williams of Henderson, KY.

3-brothers Terry (Mary Ann) Rigdon of Sebree, KY.

Greg (Misty) Rigdon of Sebree, KY.

Ernie (Shelly) Rigdon of Ridgeway, IL.

4-sisters Gail (Rick) Denton of Sebree, KY.

Lynn Fehrenbacher of Henderson, KY.

Faye Holmes (Dorris) of Dixon, KY.

Cathy Martin of Marion, KY.

6-grandchildren Shelby Gish, Casey Green (Luke Duncan), Hannah Causey, James Turner, Kylee Williams, and Adam Major-Liston.

5- great grandkids Landon, Lexie and Layla Duncan and Cloe and Colt Green.

And a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1PM on Wednesday October 8,2025 at Whitsell Funeral in Morganfield Brother Greg Rigdon will officiate. Visitation will be 4-7PM on Tuesday 10/7/25 at funeral home and 11AM until service time on Wednesday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Waverly, KY.
