Sylvia Schultz Obituary
Funeral service will be 10 am Monday February 23, 2026, at the Tonganoxie Christian Church. The family will receive friends from 4-6 pm Sunday afternoon at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.
Joann was born February 15, 1934, in McLouth, KS, the daughter of Harold and Dorothy (White) Champion. She worked in her family's grocery store, Champion IGA. She was preceded in death by her husband Arnold "Gene" Schultz on June 6, 2012.
Survivors include; two daughters, Debbie (Don) Patton, Reading, KS, Diane (Kent) Flewelling, Tonganoxie; one sister, Marilyn Stahl, Olathe, KS; four grandchildren, Mitch (Briana) Flewelling, Taylor (Mike) Drake, Kim (Brandon) Schneider, Joseph (Katie) Patton; eight great grandchildren, Audrey, Colton, Braxton, Landon, Anna, Olivia, Charlotte, and Avery.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are suggested to the Tonganoxie Christian Church, or the Tonganoxie VFW Post #9271 Women's Auxiliary.
