Sylvia Jeanette Blackwell Stringer

Sylvia Jeanette Husband Stringer, 76, of Denham Springs, LA, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Carpenter House. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A memorial visitation will be at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Friday, June 14, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Corinth Baptist Church, Raleigh, MS on Saturday at 2 p.m. She was survived by her husband, Tommy M. Stringer; son, Russ C. Stringer and his children, Matthew Stringer and wife, Kristen, Josh Stringer, and Landon Stringer; daughter and son-in-law, Leah J and Zolly G. Tucker, III and their children, Aleshia J. Tucker, Katie R. Tucker, Zolly G. "Tuck" Tucker, IV; and sister, Ann Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Grace Blackwell Husband; and brother, Harless R. Husband. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
