TAD JEFFREY NAEGELI

1975 - 2022

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Tad Jeffrey Naegeli's passing on Oct. 10, 2022. Tad was born on April 17, 1975, in Sonora to the late Ellen and Lawrence Naegeli.
Tad attended Tuolumne Parent Nursery, Summerville Elementary, and graduated from Summerville High school in 1993. While at Summerville, he played football, basketball and baseball. Tad was the captain of many teams, leading by example with his actions and strong work ethic, always putting maximum effort into everything he did. He was the guy you wanted to have the ball at the end of a tight game, as he would always perform well under pressure.
It was also at Summerville that Tad made a small, but loyal, group of lifetime friends. Tad was a man of few words, and not easy to get to know, but for those lucky enough to be in his inner circle, he loved fiercely.
After graduation, Tad moved to Sacramento and eventually to Winchester, Virginia, where he met the mother of his children. He worked for FedEx and helped coach his sons' sports teams.
Tad is survived by his four children, Elijah, Ezra, Asa and Abram, all of Winchester; his loving brother, Alan Naegeli, of Tuolumne; his aunt, Joanne Freitag, of Idaho; and a small, but loyal, group of friends who miss him dearly.
