Talitha and I have known each other for 30 plus years. We took dance classes together as tiny little girls. We grew up and went to different schools and somehow in late high school we reconnected. Then in college we became roommates. Living with Talitha during college was probably some of the BEST times of my life. We had some REALLY good times, usually with our other close friends. When I had both of my babies, Talitha was there for baby showers and hospital visits. When we graduated college with bachelors and/or master degrees we were both there together. We enjoyed MANY country music concerts together and many, many late night girly conversations! When my youngest got cancer ad endured chemo and radiation and then lost her battle, Talitha was there to cry with me. To say that Talitha knew me well and was one of my best friends would be an understatement.... she was like family to me. The loss of her sweet soul will have an everlasting effect on so many of us. She was truly one of a kind and I will miss her for the rest of my life.

to Talitha - Take care of my Cailee until I get there.... know that I miss you with all of my heart and anytime "I can't feel my teeth" I will think you and all of our good times! Love you, Mel
