Tami L. Coakley, 67, of Colona, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Silvis Center, Silvis, Illinois.

The family will hold a private gathering in Tami’s memory in the coming months. Cremation will take place at Trimble Crematory, Moline, Illinois, under the direction of Cremation Society of the Quad Cities. Memorials may be made to the family.

The former Tamara Louise Blodgett was born March 31, 1958, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Virgil and Pauline (Dugan) Blodgett. She married the love of her life, William Coakley, and the couple shared many happy years together prior to his passing on June 3, 2016.

Tami worked as a paralegal. She enjoyed gardening, playing solitaire and other games on her phone, as well as decoupage and other arts and crafts. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Tami is survived by her son, Curtis Coakley of Colona; step-children, Jennifer (Chad) Dennison of Moline, Kayla (Adam) Harris of Colona, and Lance Coakley of East Moline; her grandchildren, Owen and Alex Coakley, Alexis, Mya, Logan, Laina, Jacqui, and William; her brothers, Tracy Blodgett of Rock Island, and Shawn (Joelle) Peterson of Shawnee, Kansas; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil Blodgett, and Pauline and Clark Britton; her husband, Bill Coakley; and siblings, Tim Blodgett and Tara Price.
