Tamara Danielle “Dane’e” Friend, age 32, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Memorial Health in Savannah.  She was born in Vidalia on December 2, 1990 and had lived in Reidsville most of her life.  Dane’e enjoyed crafting, crocheting, drawing and especially reading her Bible.  She is preceded in death by her daddy, Henry Dwayne Friend, her paternal grandparents, Henry and Jaqueline Friend and an uncle, Jimmy Friend.

 

She is survived by her mother and step father, Tammy and David Castro of Reidsville; siblings, Anthony (Megan) Friend of Leesburg, GA, Alyssa (Scott) Kornegay of Michigan, Ryan (LeeAnna) Brummett of Oklahoma and Mahdyanna Castro of Reidsville; maternal grandparents, Earnest and Mary Collins of Reidsville; aunts and uncles, Crystal Collins, Tina (Randy) Chandler, Tracy Collins, Ernie (Amber) Collins, Casey (Amber) Collins,Paul Friend, Lynett (Jerry) Turner, Susie(Larry) Webb, Penny(Joe) Stewart, and Emily (Cesar) Hernandez;  nieces and nephews,  Evan Friend, Haley, Devin, Harper and Hadley Kornegay, and Jaxson Brummett, several cousins

 

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 3, 2023 beginning at 5:00pm at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm on Monday, December 4, 2023 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.  Interment will follow in the Pineview Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

Pallbearers will be Casey Collins, Ernie Collins, George Collins, Dawson Collins, Ronnie Hilliard, and Buddy Peebles.
