Tami Redmon, born in Evanston, Wyoming, on May 12, 1957, hit the ground running and never slowed down. A true firecracker from the start, she brought energy, wit, and warmth to everyone and everything she touched. Her early life was as adventurous as her spirit—by seventh grade she had lived in 19 different places, following her family’s journey alongside AT&T.

From her earliest years, Tami loved learning and music, rising with the sun and chasing every opportunity. A natural leader, she was her school's junior prom queen, cheerleader, valedictorian, and student body president. In eighth grade, she caught the eye of the man who would become her lifelong love, Tom Redmon, with a charming May basket. Within days of turning 18, she graduated, got married, and began building a life and home full of love and laughter. As devout members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, their marriage for all eternity took place in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 23, 1975. Travis arrived a year later, the first of the eight beautiful children she raised with fierce devotion and boundless heart. He was followed by Tracy, Tiffany, Tina, Tim, Todd, Tony and Taylor who became the family of 10 T’s.

Tami wore many hats—and mastered them all. She was an organist, flutist, pianist, and guitarist. She served in many leadership positions in her church. She served a mission at the historic Handcart Mission at Martin’s Cove. She was also a temple ordinance worker where she served weekly for two years at the Odgen Temple. She poured concrete, ranched, built homes, ran a movie theater, and a charter business in Alaska. Her hands could heal, sew, nurture, and teach. She discovered foot zoning and the power of essential oils during a difficult time in Tom’s health and quickly became a source of healing and knowledge for those around her.

She was a connector—a friend to all—able to find common ground with anyone. Her gift was love, given freely and deeply to friends, family, and strangers alike. She raised her children with grit and grace while supporting her husband through his service as bishop, business owner, and school board chair. Tami was a multitasking marvel: piano teacher, seamstress, home remedy expert, and fierce mama bear rolled into one.

Tami’s strength was unmatched. Her 16-year battle with cancer was fought with courage, curiosity, and perseverance. Her journey took her to places like Mexico, Utah, Texas, Florida, Iowa, and North Carolina, always seeking new ways to live and heal. She showed everyone around her what it meant to fight with faith and to live with intention.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Clifton Thomas Redmon; her devoted mother, Elda Wickham; mother-in-law Jerry Redmon ; siblings Teresa (Gary) Hutchinson, Donna (Donald Stockton) Porras, Russ (Lori) Walker, Lana Martin, Lauri (John) Watson, Michael Walker, Lisa Walker; brother-in-law Rick (Lisa) Carroll, sisters-in-law Robin (Kim) Hurdsman, Nancie (Dave) Bennion; children Travis (Emily) Redmon, Tracy (Cody) Anderson, Tiffany (Tim) Kelly, Tina (Jake) Peterson, Tim (Katy) Redmon, Todd (Jimyl) Redmon, Tony Redmon, and Taylor Redmon; and her 28 treasured grandchildren consisting of 14 grandsons and 14 granddaughters who each held a special place in her heart. She also leaves behind countless extended family members, friends, and admirers who were blessed to know her.

Tami now reunites with her father Clifford Wickham, biological father Clark Walker, father and mother-in-law Clifton and Donna Rae Redmon, sister Barbara Carroll, brother James Ray Wickham, grandson Samuel Joseph Kelly, and all her grandparents in heaven.

Her legacy is one of boundless compassion, resilience, laughter, and light. She was many things to many people, but to all, she is unforgettable.
