Wendy Slagowski, a beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 17, 2025, at the age of 70, in her beloved hometown of Evanston, Wyoming. Born on February 17, 1955, Wendy was a cherished member of the community and an irreplaceable presence in the lives of her family and friends.
Wendy lived her life with a deep commitment to her family. As a dedicated mother, she nurtured and supported her children-Erin, Seth, LaNae, and Kylie-instilling in them the values of love, kindness, and togetherness. Her laughter and warmth were constant sources of comfort and joy. Wendy had a passion for camping and enjoyed many memorable trips filled with adventures and storytelling under the stars. She also delighted in playing cards with family and friends, where her competitive spirit and sense of humor shone brightly.
Wendy is survived by her loving husband, Todd Osterling, and her adoring children, Erin, Seth, LaNae, and Kylie. She is also survived by her brothers, Rick, Danny, and Roger Slagowski, her sisters Connie Staker and Patricia "Cookie" Defa, and her treasured grandchildren, Freya Osterling, Ethan LaFave and Hunter Lafave
Wendy is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved relatives Diane Harris, Kurt Slagowski, Laraine Turner, and Laura Slagowski.
Wendy's spirit will remain forever in the hearts of her loved ones, and her legacy of love and compassion will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
