Luana Hilton was born on November 15, 1931 in her family home in Union, Utah to Gilmer Gale Hilton and Vivian Milne and returned to her heavenly home on December 7, 2024 at the age of 93 surrounded by her loving family. 

She got married to Arthur R. Allen at age 16 years old in 1948 and had 5 sons with Artie, Dennis (JoAnn), Duane deceased (Marlene), Darrell (Shirley Lexie), Darcy deceased, Donn Dee (Angie). They later divorced in 1966.

Survived by her husband Arthur Dee Slagowski, they were married on April 1st (April Fools Day) in 1967. She gained 3 more children-Todd, Terry and DiAnn Slagowski. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Vern Hilton, sons Duane and Darcy Allen and Terry Slagowski. 

Luana had a beautiful legacy with the 8 children, 21 grandchildren, 55 great grandchildren and 36 great great grandchildren. 

Luana went to Union Elementary school where she met a lot of good friends but her best pals were LauJuana Mousley, Maxine Willden and Birdie Acerson, friends for 88 years. Luana also attended Jordan High School, graduated from beauty school and then bought and owned Luana’s Coiffeuse in 1966 for 10 years. 

She then went to work at St Mark's Hospital business office where she worked for 18 years and then retired. 

While working at St Marks she moved in and lovingly helped care for her aging Mum and Daddy for 5 years taking turns every other week with her brother Vern. 

Before the funeral, friends & relatives are invited to a closed casket visitation from 9:30 am - 10:30 am on Thursday, December 19, 2024. Family viewing and goodbyes will be at 10:30 am to 10:45 am located at the LDS chapel, 1617 East 12700 South, Draper. Funeral services to follow from 11:00 am - 12:00 also at the LDS chapel, 1617 East 12700 South, Draper, UT 84020. Burial will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, UT. Luncheon after gravesite 1:00 pm back at the church for family and close friends.
