Tamara Smith Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by North Dallas Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Sep. 5, 2024.
Tamara Kathleen Smith, 55, born May 7, 1969 to Eileen (deceased) and Raymond Smith of Cleveland Ohio, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2024 in Carrollton Texas. Tammy loved to play games, but was especially eager for any card game. She enjoyed spending time and vacations with best friend Kim Rampa, husband Jim and her loving godchildren, David Pirovolos, Alexia Pirovolos and Samantha Rampa. Tammy absolutely adored her tuxedo cat, "Charlie." Tammy expressed her independence at an early age, getting her first job at 16 and eventually finding a place for herself in sales office environments. By the time she was 30, Tammy boldly had relocated from Ohio to Arizona to pursue an administrative career, ending up in Texas where she worked for several years for an electronic components distributor. While she was there, Tammy worked her way into a team leadership role. She made so many friends through her work life that enriched her personal life. We admire her gentle demeanor and sweet presence. Tammy had a robust laugh and we will always miss her loving smile. Tammy is survived by her father, Raymond Smith (Sue) of Litchfield Ohio, her brother Mark Smith (Suzan) of Wadsworth Ohio, her sister Sandra Salopek (Peter) of Hudson Ohio, several aunts, uncles, cousins, favorite cousin Maureen, special nieces Brittany Smith, Samantha Hardtmayer, Allie Collier and a great nephew Oliver Smith.
The family will be holding a private mass and service at St. Mary Catholic Church in Hudson, Ohio in October.
