Tamela Jean "Tammy" Epling

Tamela "Tammy" Jean Epling, 58, of Washington, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024.
She was born October 4, 1965, in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late John and Delores Robinson Epling.
Tammy worked 21 years for CVS. She was a kind, caring, and giving person, always willing to do whatever was needed. She loved her family dearly and was a good friend to many. Tammy's favorite place was the beach and she loved all the trips she took with Jeannie, Jodi, and Morgan.
Tammy's faith in God gave her strength to fight a courageous battle with COPD which confined her to her home for the last decade.
She leaves behind her brother, Randy (Brenda) Epling; a niece, who has always held a special place in her heart, Amy (Dave) Foutty; three nephews, whom she loved so much, David, Connor, and Crosby Foutty; special aunt, Jeannie; uncle, Larry; aunt, Corrine; several cousins, including special cousins, Brian, Dalton, and Morgan; and special cousin and best friend, Jodi.
A special thank you to all her friends and neighbors, especially Keith, Levi, Stacy, Sandy, and Teresa, who looked out for Tammy and stopped by for a visit with dinner.
In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Epling.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Vaughan Kimes Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Burch officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Home Cemetery, Belleville. The Epling family will receive friends 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
