Tami Stump Obituary
She was born on June 24, 1959, to the late Francis Ray Jones and Agnes Landry Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her husband, Cecil Stump; granddaughter, Trinity Paige Jones; and siblings, Russell Jones, Oscar Jones, Vera Stewart and Faye Bender.
During the last seven months of Tami's life, she lived with her family. They would like to thank Michael Losh for his compassionate care of Tami. She loved her family and cherished her time with them. Every year she enjoyed traveling to the cabin where they would fish and spend time outdoors. Interestingly, her mother, Agnes, spoke Creole French and grew in up Donalsonville, Louisiana. Spoiling her grandchildren and grand dog were her favorite pastimes. She will be missed.
Left to cherish her memories are her son, David Jones (Lisa Wilson) of Cowen; daughter, Kendal Jones (Michael Losh) of Gassaway, grandchildren, Brady Ray Jones, Zane Jones, Kendrick Jones, and Kyler Compton; brothers, Kirby Jones and Glen Jones; several nieces and nephews; and Jack Russell Terrier, Jack.
The visitation for Tami will be held from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2026, at Roach Funeral Home, Gassaway.
Her funeral will be 2 P.M. on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Rodney England officiating.
Burial will follow in the Little Kanawha Memorial Gardens, Heaters.
The family would like to thank WV Caring.
