Tammie Ann Blodgett passed away peacefully February 11, 2026 due to medical complications while surrounded by her loved ones.
Tammie was a beautiful mother, sister, aunt and daughter. Although only 47 years old, Tammie truly spent her time on Earth side planting her own gardens- both physically and metaphorically. Not only was one of her passions planting any types of flowers or plants- she also lovingly referred to her children as her garden, accompanied by a matching tattoo adorning their names. Throughout her life many people can attest that she had planted and bloomed many friendships and life long connections- creating strong bonds from people who otherwise may have never met.
Tammie became a mother at the young age of 17 but everyone that knew her knows she had a deep, mothering spirit that extended far beyond her own children- even lovingly accepting additional children referring to them as her own and fostering a wide variety of pets throughout her life.
More than just nurturing- Tammie was truly a sweet person who loved to love and service others and her loss will be truly mourned by many.
Although her time spent Earth side was cut short, her fierce spirt forever lives on and we will forever reminisce her especially when enjoying some of her favorite things- like watching crime shows, listening to rap and enjoying comedy. Her laugh was truly contagious and you could not help but to share in her joy with her.
Tammie is preceded in death by her father Wayne Blodgett. She is survived by her children, Brianna McBride, Keonna Rogers, Dante Rogers Jr and Nevaeh Porter; her granddaughter Aaliyah Rogers-Dunn; mother, Connie Blodgett; sister, Cindy (Herbert) Deyoung; brother Chris Blodgett and many cousins, nieces and nephews as well as a great nephew.
Tammie had expressed shortly before her passing that she did not wish for any funeral or celebration of life- instead just wanting to be cremated and lay to rest next to her most loyal companion, her beloved dog Zeus who unfortunately also preceded her in death in 2024 after 14 loyal years by her side.
