Tammie S. Yester, 63 of Zanesville, died 5:45 AM, Thursday, July 3, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born Friday, September 29, 1961, in Zanesville, the daughter of the late William M. Kelso, Sr. and Marcella F. (Willey) Kelso, and married Don Yester Sr. on Sunday, February 16, 1986.
Tammie was employed with Essex Wire and Lear Corporation for many years and was the bartender for the Moose Lodge. She loved cooking, camping, fishing, and planning the best parties. But most of all, Tammie was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, who always looked after her family and cherished the time she spent with them.
Tammie is survived by her husband, Don Yester Sr.; four children, Don "DJ" (Renee) Yester Jr, Amanda (Shawn) Noll, Michelle (Steven) Georgecopoulos, and Natasha (Greg) Kieffer; ten grandchildren; her two special four-legged family members, Sherlock, and Willow; one brother, William "Bill" (Joyce) Kelso, Jr.; two aunts, Barb Acheson, and Billie Willey; one uncle, Gene Swingle, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Tammie was preceded in death by one brother, Jeff Kelso; one sister, Sherrie Kelso; two sisters-in-law, Andrea Dunn and JoAnn Lytton, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
