Teresa Veronica Yester

Our beloved mother, Teresa Veronica Yester, died peacefully in her home on October 3rd, 2025 at the age of 96, after a life filled with love and laughter. Born on June 21, 1929 to Phillip and Josephine Gullo in Queens, New York. Teresa was a Secretary in New York when she met her Navy man, Bill, who turned out to be the love of her life. They resided in New York for a little more than a year and a half and then moved to Michigan where they raised their family of six children. Teresa was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many. She was a devoted mother who always said her children were her pride and joy. Teresa was known for her warmth, kindness, sassiness, and devotion to her faith. She is predeceased and joins her dearly loved husband Bill, parents Phillip and Josephine, brothers Carmen and Stephen and sisters Rose, Anna and Rita. She is survived by her children Sharon (Vic) Pampalona, Margaret "Peggy" (Sam) Buffa, Steven (Michele) Yester, Mary (John) McInnis, John (Jamie) Yester, Christopher Yester (Jack Priest, Jr.), many grandchildren and great grand-children. Visitation Tuesday 3-8pm with a 6pm Rosary service at Wujek Calcaterra & Sons 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile Rd). Funeral Wednesday instate 10:30am at St. Ephrem Catholic Church 38900 Dodge Park @ 17 Mile Rd. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
