Tammy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Earl Eugene McCoy, her father Ronald Reagan Avant, her father-in-law Loyd Galin McCoy, and mother-in law Faye Marie (Johnson) McCoy.
She is survived by her mother Margaret (Fulgham) Tramel and stepfather Charles Thomas Tramel, her stepmother Earlene Waldrup, her brother Terry Reagan Avant and his wife Kim, her sister Tracey Posada and her husband Ricky, her sister Tessa Dawn Gray, and her stepsister Janice Myers; her 4 children and their spouses Kenneth and Tiffany, Desiree and Matt, Charlie and Cortney, and Jeremy; her 10 grandchildren Lillian, Robert, Jessi, Liam, Kenzlie, Brody, Owen, Pyper, Cole and River; her best friend of 28 years, Candi Anne Conner; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Tammy was the hub of her family, organizing many gatherings with games for the children and large family and friend camping trips, where she did most of the cooking and event planning. She played a key role in all her grandchildren’s lives from birth. Tammy created many memories for her children and grandchildren that they will always hold onto and are grateful to have.
Tammy was always passionate about the youth soccer program. Tammy served within the Tri County Soccer Association in Mabank for 28 years, where she volunteered much of her time coaching, serving on the Board, and managing the concession stand. She was also part of the board member team that established the TCSA scholarship program in 2003, that is still active today. She instilled a love of soccer in all her children, who also dedicate their time volunteering within the association, who have continued playing the sport in their adult years, and whose children also play the sport.
