Tammy Lee Dean

Tammy Lee (Estes) Dean, 65, a long times resident of Miami, Oklahoma, passed away, Monday, February 3, 2025, at Integris Miami Hospital. Tammy was born in Miami, Oklahoma, to Billie and Bernadette (Hefner) Estes. During her childhood, she moved around due to her father being in the military. She would graduate from Miami High School with the Class of 1978. After high school she attended Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College where she graduated with the Class of 1980, with her associate's degree. She married her husband, Tom Dean on July 17, 1999, in Miami, Oklahoma. Together they would spend many wonderful years together. Tammy was a hard worker; she held many jobs in her over thirty years working for Walmart. Tammy was a collector, she loved to collect Green M&M figures, Barbies, and had many pictures and paintings of trees in her home. Tammy was also very good at seeing the best in everyone. She was always in a good mood and had a smile on her face. She was happiest when she was around her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tammy will always be remembered as a selfless person who loved to help anyone in need. Tammy is preceded in passing by her parents, Billie and Bernadette Estes.
Those left to share the beautiful memory of Mrs. Dean include her husband of twenty-five years, Tom Dean, daughter, Melissa Blair and her husband Will, brother, John Estes and his wife, Dorthy, sister, Geri Rogers and her husband Rob, grandchildren, Brent Reeves and his wife Myranda, and Bernadette Reeves, grandchildren, Ryder, Baker, and Weston.
Services and have been placed in the care of Brown-Winters Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Miami, Oklahoma.
