Tammy Albright, 51 of Logan, WV left this earthly home on Friday, October 11th, 2024, at Logan Regional Medical Center in Logan, WV. She was born on February 17th, 1973, to Lana Sue Elkins and the late Donald Elkins. In addition to her dad, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Timothy Elkins, II and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Tammy was a hairdresser for 25+ years. She also spent most of her days and weekends close to a ballfield as she loved all things softball. Most of all she loved watching her favorite player, her daughter; sling a screwball across home plate.

Those left to cherish her memory includes her loving husband, Ray Allen Albright; one daughter at home, Charlie Sue; her mother, Sue Elkins; one brother, Timmy (Melanie) Elkins; two stepdaughters, Christina (Jacob) Canterbury, and their children, Jacob, and Greyson; Brandi (Jonathan) Pence, and their children, Thane, Dante, and Warrick; three brothers in law, Larry (Stacy) Albright, Chris, Harry Jr. (Becky) Albright, Terry (Cassandra Cline) Albright; two nieces, Larra and Emma; and one great niece, Josephine Vance. Tammy also had two special friends, Mitzi Wolfe and Amanda Hayes, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 18th, 2024, at Collins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alvis Porter, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens in Godby, WV. Pallbearers will include; Johnathan Spence, Lonnie Conley, JC Christian, Chuck Mullins, Jacob Canterbury, Chris Albright, and Eugene Mullins. Honorary pallbearers will include; Michael Rebar, Scott Wallen, and her uncles and cousins.

Friends may call with the family from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday evening also at the funeral home.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Collins Funeral Home, Inc. of Switzer, WV.
