TAMMY LEA ERWIN
Tammy Lea Erwin, 56, of Raymore, MO, passed away on September 13, 2022, surrounded by her family at Menorah Hospital.
Tammy was born on May 3, 1966 to C. Lee & Vonnie Erwin in Kansas City, KS.
Tammy is survived by her parents, C. Lee & Vonnie Erwin. Her daughters, Courtney Keller & Whitney Lang & son in law, Adam Lang. Her grandchildren, Keller, Collins, Kinley & future baby boy Lang. Her brother, Tom Erwin & his wife Renee Erwin. Her husband, Phil Sousley.
Her nephews, Logan Jones, Austin Jones & his wife Alex Jones, Trevor & Jacob Erwin and her cherished friends, Becky Albright and Larry Phelps.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Erwin Jones; Grandparents, Ruby & Vincent Palmer & Nova & Lee Bishop Erwin, and her grand dog, Jack.
She loved Jesus and truly believed that He died for her sins. She attended Abundant Life Church in Lees Summit.
She loved her Poppie & Madre, her little sis, who she missed dearly, her little brother and his wife, her daughters, Curt & Whit, her grandbabies, nephews, her grand dogs and a handful of people that were lucky enough to call her a best friend.
Tammy lived her life to the fullest and enjoyed quality time with her family. She expressed her love through acts of service. She enjoyed hosting loved ones and making sure they were comfortable and well fed in her home. She filled her days with activities like cutting her parents hair (even though she wasn't a hair stylist), showering her daughters and grandbabies with gifts, spoiling her dogs, and getting a tan by her brother's pool.
Tammy had a warm heart and never took herself too seriously. She made friends easily and welcomed everyone into her life with open arms.
Please join us in honoring and celebrating her life and mourning her death on Tuesday, September 20, 2022.
