Tammy Lynn Hebert Beard, beloved sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on January 2, 1963, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Tammy lived her life to the fullest with an infectious spirit that drew everyone around her in.
Tammy spent her career as an account’s payable bookkeeper for Lake City Trucking but most recently was a caregiver with her beloved patients from Alliance Health Care Staffing, where she was known for her meticulous nature and warm personality.
Tammy had a zest for life that was reflected in her hobbies. She was an enthusiastic fan of gambling, always eager to try her luck at bingo and video poker. She loved shopping and often delighted in discovering new treasures. In her downtime, she could be found playing games on her phone, bringing joy and laughter to her family and friends.
She leaves behind her cherished brother, Nolan Hebert (Laurie) and her cherished sister, Shannon Chesson. Tammy will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces and nephews: Brad Hebert, Holly Thompson, Desire' Yancey (Jeff), Joni Black (Anthony), Caitlyn Smith, Dylan Simon (Addison), Jake Daughenbaugh (Brianna), Luke Daughenbaugh (Jacy), Tracy Dautriel (Jason), Nikki Martin (Jared) and Todd Booth. Also, numerous great nieces and nephews who she cherished as her own, especially Brantly and Brody Martin and Austin Hebert. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Harley.
To celebrate Tammy's wonderful life, a Celebration of Life will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Iowa on November 10, 2025, at 5:00 PM with Brother William Whited, Jr from Trinity Bible Missionary Church. Prior to the service, there will be a gathering of friends and family starting at 3:00 PM. Come join us to reminisce and honor the memory of a truly special person who meant so much to all of us.
Rest in peace, Tammy. You'll be forever missed and loved.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Leonce and Dorothy Hollier Hebert; her brother, Allen Hebert, and brother-in-law, Brent Chesson.
