Tammy Sue Hunley

Tammy Sue Muncy Hunley, 57, of Jenkinjones, WV, passed Thursday, February 27, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family. 

Born July 29, 1967, in Welch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Esther Flippen Muncy. Tammy was a resident of Jenkinjones for over 37 years. She was a dedicated homemaker to her husband and children. She was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. 

In addition to her parents, Tammy was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Kevin Hunley, and a brother, Jody Muncy. 

Those left to cherish Tammy's memory are her husband, William "Bill" Hunley, of the home; son, Eric Muncy and wife Donna, of Roderfield, WV; daughter, Savannah Hunley and husband Delbert Canterberry, of Lincolnton, NC; brother Gene Allen Muncy and wife Tonya, of Roderfield, WV; and six grandchildren, whom she loved dearly, Alex, DJ, Kaylee, Kelsey, Hunter, and Chase. 

Funeral services will be held, Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM, at the Cravens-Shires Funeral Home Chapel in Bluewell, WV, with Rev. Nick Marrs officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park with Cody Muncy, Hunter Muncy, Chase Muncy, Alex Hunley, Boby Davis, Jerry Hunley, and Austin Long serving as pallbearers. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services, from 10:00-11:00 AM at the funeral home.
