Mrs. Tammy Masters Kay, 56, wife of Stephen "Steve" Milford Kay, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2025.


Born in Greenville County, a daughter of the late Columbus Larry Masters and the late Mamie Cleveland Masters, Mrs. Kay was a graduate of Travelers Rest High School and Greenville Technical College where she earned her degree in nursing. Tammy was very outgoing and loved hiking, bird watching and art and crafts. She will be dearly missed by her family and all that knew her.


Surviving, in addition to her husband of thirty-two years, and her son, Stephen Matthew Kay of Easley; her two brothers, Larry Masters (Brandy), and Kyle Masters (Erin), both of Travelers Rest; her sister, Angela Childs of River Falls; five nephews, two nieces and thirteen great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Tammy was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Joseph B. Kay; and one nephew and one niece.


A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date to be announced.
