Tammy Matlock Obituary
Memorial service for Tammy Matlock, age 53 of Saltillo, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Danny Christenberry officiating. There will be no formal visitation. Mrs. Matlock passed away on August 20, 2023 at Christus Mother Frances – Sulphur Springs.
Tammy was born on October 13, 1969 in Hopkins County, Texas to Ibra Mitchell “I.M” Melba Ann (Green) Mills. She married Larry Grayson “Matt” Matlock on July 20, 1991 in Weaver, Texas. Tammy worked as a delivery driver for UPS. Tammy was beautiful and kind. She loved to fish, play pool and go out to the lake. Most importantly she loved her family more than anything.
She is survived by her son, Payton Matlock; daughter, Shelby Matlock and boyfriend, Mason Higginbotham; sister, Teresa Minick; brother, David Mills and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tammy was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, Jackie Mills and nephew, Kenny Minick.
